Itinerary
Sigiriya Discovery
Visit the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka’s most famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Families may also enjoy an optional village experience featuring traditional transport, local cooking demonstrations, and interactions with rural communities. The afternoon is free for leisure and resort activities.
Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Journey into Sri Lanka’s central highlands through tea-covered mountains and waterfalls. Stop at a tea plantation for a guided factory visit and tasting session before arriving in Nuwara Eliya. Spend the evening enjoying Gregory Lake and its family-friendly activities.
Scenic Train Journey to Ella
Transfer to Nanu Oya Railway Station and board one of the world’s most scenic train journeys. Travel through tea plantations, mountain tunnels, valleys, and waterfalls before arriving in Ella. Visit the famous Nine Arches Bridge and enjoy a relaxed evening in the hill town.
Ella Adventure Experience
Enjoy a family-friendly hike to Little Adam’s Peak with spectacular views across the surrounding mountains. Optional adventure activities such as the Flying Ravana Zipline are available for eligible participants. Visit Ravana Falls before returning to your hotel.
Ella to Arugam Bay
Travel from the cool highlands to Sri Lanka’s eastern coastline, experiencing dramatic landscape changes along the way. Arrive in Arugam Bay and enjoy a relaxed evening by the beach.
Arugam Bay Leisure Day
Spend the day enjoying the laid-back atmosphere of Arugam Bay. Optional activities include beginner-friendly surfing lessons, lagoon safaris, birdwatching excursions, or visits to nearby viewpoints. The remainder of the day can be spent relaxing by the beach.
Arugam Bay to Udawalawe
Travel through rural Sri Lanka towards Udawalawe National Park. In the afternoon, enjoy a safari experience in one of the country’s best wildlife parks, famous for its large elephant population and open landscapes that provide excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.
Mirissa, Galle & Departure
Optional early morning whale watching excursion from Mirissa (seasonal). Continue to the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort and explore its charming streets, galleries, boutiques, and oceanfront ramparts. Afterwards, transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for departure.
